NOT!!! Awake before 5AM..
Help Wanted: one witch, pays £50,000by Sean McLachlan on Jul 8th 2009 at 12:30PM In these hard economic times it's nice to know there are still good jobs out there. Wookey Hole, Somerset, England, is advertising for a witch.
Wookey Hole, famous for its beautiful limestone caves, is home to a family theme park. The company that manages the park wants to hire someone to play a witch and is willing to pay them £50,000 ($81,000) a year to cackle at visitors, teach courses in magic, and (here's the catch) live in the caves. It's not the greatest job in the world, but it beats flipping burgers and asking "Do you want eye of newt with that?" According to legend there really was a witch in the Wookey Hole Caves. Back in the Middle Ages, an evil old witch who had been unlucky in love cursed a young couple so they would never marry. The young groom-to-be was so despondent over the loss of his love that he became a monk, and swore revenge. One day he entered the cave, blessed the underground river he found flowing through it, and splashed the water onto the witch, turning her into a stalagmite that can still be seen to this day. It sounds like a fun way to make some money off an old legend, but one thing confuses me. Considering their name, why don't they open a Star Wars theme park and hire a Wookiee?

today the car in front of me hit a cat...I saw the entire thing in slow motion. I could not stop crying for 30 minutes. Full on crying out loud, tears and wailing. I won't go that way again for a few days. I have to leave in 10 minutes to take my son to the dentist. i am feeling exhausted from all of the pain. The car didn't even slow down. People need to keep their animals indoors! |

I don't care if most all of you bitches don't comment...I'm gonna post, post, post!!
I bought this today on Ebay because I hate my ghetto $2 teapot from Goodwill...it's Corell or something hideous like that.
My search was "Whimsical Teapot Set"...and I believe it is.
(there are paw prints on the back of the teapot and cups as well) And why yes indeed I do, I drink 6-10 cups of Honey Lemon Ginseng Green Tea a day! |

| If You're Trying to lose weight |
[Jun. 10th, 2009|12:03 pm] |
it's not easy staying motivated...or even making smart decisions. The media blasts us with so much info...best advice: basically eat less, move more. I have had to be diligent about my diet since I was 17, the same time that I joined my first "fitness center", and really only found the key to success for myself around age 23. The AJC.com has a feature where they spotlight someone, a real someone, not a celebrity who has a chef or doesn't have to actually work or raise a family, who has been successful and they share how they did it. I think most folks would be shocked to see how little food these people eat, how much they exercise and how they basically have to have "constant vigalance" over their food intake...but truly, it all does become second nature...and like my old stylist who has lost 125 lbs always liked to say "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS"...or you could insert other words for thin like being fit, healthy.. If you are looking for real solutions, life long solutions, and motivation please read through and follow the future stories. Then the key is finding out what combo works for you.
WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS STORYSherrie Cline, 44, of Cartersville loses 72 poundsBy MICHELLE C. BROOKS For The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Tuesday, June 09, 2009 • Former weight: 198 pounds • Current weight: 126 pounds • Pounds lost: 72 pounds • Height: 5 feet 5 inches • How long she’s kept it off: 7 months. She began her journey in March 2008 and reached her goal in November 2008. • Personal life: “I live in Cartersville, Georgia with my husband, Cliff Cline, and two daughters, Kayla and Crystal Cline,” she says. She started working as the corporate sales coordinator for Thrive Weight Loss in April. • Turning point: In March 2008, she went shopping for spring clothes. “My size 16’s were too small, so I had to shop at Lane Bryant. After trying on a size 18, I sat in the dressing room and cried for 20 minutes,” she says. “I decided right then I was tired of feeling bad and having no energy.” • Diet plan: “The program I chose is Thrive Weight Loss (www.thriveweightloss.com). This is a nutrition program that teaches you to eat real food in the correct combinations so your body burns fat instead of muscle. For breakfast, she has Quaker weight control banana bread oatmeal along with 3 egg whites. Lunch is typically a Chick-fil-A grilled chicken breast wrap with fruit. And dinner is steak with broccoli. • Exercise routine: “Only exercise at this time is Zumba dancing,” she says. Zumba is an aerobic workout inspired by Latin dance. • Biggest challenge: “My biggest challenge was realizing that I will hit walls during my journey,” she says. “Once I learned how to get past those, it was no problem at all. There are certain food combinations that will increase your metabolism and help you break through those walls. What I did find was that even though the scales had stopped moving, I was still losing inches.” • How life has changed: “I am a completely different person,” she says. “At first I was the heavy, shy person in the back of the class. Very soon, I was on the front row proudly standing up when they asked who lost 30, 40, 50, and 60 pounds. I have tons of energy, my headaches are gone. I sleep at night and play with my kids — I am really enjoying life.” PHOTOS:Be an inspiration: Be an inspiration: If you've made positive changes in your diet and/or fitness routine and are happy with the results, please share your success with us. if this can be popular enough for a Reality Show...Ok, how real is this? And if it is, shouldn't we be very afraid of our future?
I stand up and proclaim loudly and proudly that I am an intellectual snob...however, how smart do you have to claim to be to be above this? And how totally fucking dumb must you be to care enough to follow this?
Brooke "sobbed uncontrollably" as she passed the old fam mansion in a boat with her dad...here they are in happier times. |

is what the thermometer reads. I already hate summer. OK, that will be my last rant for a bit....but, really, it makes everything so much more difficult, like walking 30 feet to my car from the store. Makes me grumpy and short tempered...but then, I have only slept well for 1 night in over a week so that makes me grumpy too. At least I am not crying all day like yesterday...tired to tears...who knows that game?
I did get this in the mail today though.
And I have good a/c kicking out cold air inside my home.

| | accomplished | ] | The house Bruce and I bought together 3 years ago was built in 1983, and the original owners son was living here when we bought it. Both his parents had passed on, they were elderly, and the house was left to him and his brother. It had a good vibe from the first time we checked it out, we knew it was the Right Home for us. There has been an old fashioned climbing rose growing here, but due to the growth of all of the trees around it, as would occur over 25 years or so, it was nearly dead, the ground way too hard and clay-ish, it basically had become completely shaded . Roses need a min of 6 hours of SunLight. Well, tonight Bruce and I dug it up, prepared a new bed with rich topsoil mixed with composting manure, and set it up in a sunny corner inside our fenced yard, as the deer love to eat roses.I bought a pretty trellis for it to climb on. I am hoping it will survive the transplant and flourish, as I am sure it did once.
The mother of the family that lived here was named Beulah, and I think she is looking down and smiling at her home, especially seeing that we are loving and nurturing one another and the living things (except scorpions!) surrounding her home. Her sons told us how good a place this was to grow up in, and to raise a family in, as one of them did just that, moving back here with his wife and child...that is why the basement is like another house with its own bath, kitchen, laundry, 2 bedrooms, and living area (our gym is there). And that is where Bruce and I have our space, separate from the kids, now kid, upstairs. I love it here, even though it is unorganized and still has lots that needs updating. It's truly home, and very much alive and well. |

had a nightmare about my mother and her current state, only to wake at 5AM to discover it isn't a dream, it is the way things are. couldn't go back to sleep after that, it was like a slap in the face. Pray you never have a loved one with Alzheimer's disease .
It's going to be a long ass day |
